You are right about that, but tendencies tend to exist. For example: European animation prefers quality over quantity (except for French), USA prefers quantity over quality (with rare exceptions). Japan prefers to use standard plots, Chile only did 2 feature animations during its existence etc.
>I know nothing about Russian animation, actually
It is in relatively bad shape now. It's a market targeted at kids mostly. The times of legendary 60-70s cartoons are long past
>were you looking for information about animation in my country?
I saw Mampato myself a year ago. The other cartoon was listed as being the other Chile animated. Couldn't find Marama song the way it sounds in cartoon. Shame
>wow, just wow...
I know. But my obsession bleaks in comparion to that of bronies. If someone said one of my works is bad and cancerous, I would delete it (provided a proper reason given)
Well, there are some chilean animated TV shows here, but, as you say, "it's a market targeted at kids mostly" :/
[link] <- I like this one, "Diego y Glot", it's so simple, but their stories are funny, and non-commercial purposes.
[link] <- this isn't and animated show, is a puppet show (yeah, that sounds odd), but this one was transmited in some countries from Europe (I know a guy from Italy who watches this show)
Chile is not just Ogu and Manpato, and Condorito... We have some other stuffs, but there aren't known out of here
Name them at least
>[link] <- I like this one, "Diego y Glot"
>no eng subs
It's like Europe all over again - people too lazy to translate it to english for others to watch. Hence so many shows unavailable to broader audience. Maybe this is better though - if Secret of Kells was in Gaelic, you probably wouldn't have picked it up to be a disease recipient
[link] <-Oh, look, I did more atrocities...
P.S. If you don't like pony art, don't comment it. And I love your art, anyways... cheers!
